INVEST ON HYDRO-POWER

Hydropower potential of Nepal is estimated at 83,000 MW out of which only approximately 680 MW of hydropower has been developed. Around 40,000 MW of hydro-power is considered to be technically and economically viable. That means if we develop hydropower to its complete potential an economic condition of Nepal can be upgraded by 61 times the present.

If government could instigate more storage projects and invest on hydropower or promote private sector investment in hydropower then it won't take time to achieve so-dreamed-economic-revolution in Nepal.
